Learn with Lars: Juggling Basics
Keep kids busy with free, engaging programs and activities. The Kid-Tauqua Tent has special musical programs, demonstrations, tie-dying, bubble-making, and make ‘n’ take crafts. Visit the Splash Pad for interactive water play.
Once the kids are worn out, relax on a Trolley Tour of the Mountain Lake Park Historic District. Free horse-drawn carriage rides run all weekend.

Learn to Juggle
Lars Matthew Rieck is an Instagram sensation, demonstrating his remarkable skill of contact juggling, or manipulating objects to appear weightless. His unique approach has earned him over 100 thousand followers. Lars will be teaching a workshop on juggling. He’ll share his expertise so kids can continue to practice on their own. Parents may want to join in!

Storytelling and Puppetry
Jo Ann Dadisman will be returning with a program your kids will love. Storytelling, music, and puppets open up a child’s imagination and allow them to be immersed in the moment.

Musical Instruments
Sally Stephenson brightens up the Kid-Tauqua tent with her interactive songs. Her warm, natural demeanor draws in the little ones. Listen, sing along, and play simple instruments with Dr. Sally while learning about the animals of our woodlands.

Chuck Trautwein heads up Garrett County’s Robotics team, GaCo, and has mentored students who have won multiple international awards of excellence in robotic engineering. See his amazing demonstration of technology on the Kid-Tauqua stage.
