You Are Cordially Invited!

The Victorian spirit abounds at the annual fundraiser dinner.

Plans have been laid for the 2026 Victorian Chautauqua fundraiser dinner under the big top next to the oldest standing cottage in Mountain Lake Park. Come as you are or in period attire to kick off the weekend festivities with great food, drinks, and companionship. This outdoor affair is a beautiful kick-off to The Victorian Chautauqua weekend, which unfurls July 11th & 12th.

Entering its sixth year, The Victorian Chautauqua is proud to offer free admission and parking to visitors. This is possible through grant funding, corporate sponsorships, and private donors. The fundraiser dinner significantly contributes to the operating budget, which helps cover the costs of rented equipment, infrastructure updates, performances, promotional fees, and special services to host a lively weekend.

Join fellow Mountain Lake Park enthusiasts who enjoy the historical significance of a unique resort destination built around the B&O’s passenger railroad in 1881. As the sun sets and the fireflies emerge, the anticipation of a magical weekend grows. Being part of the gathering helps cement camaraderie while supporting a family-friendly event in the heart of the Historic District. Financial support has transformed Mountain Lake Park from a quiet bedroom community into a standout destination for residents and visitors who appreciate the ambiance of a bygone era.

This year’s traditional meal offers a choice of rotisserie chicken or bourbon steak tips, accompanied by mashed potatoes with gravy, baked corn, Caesar salad, a dinner roll, and a variety of enticing desserts. Unsweetened iced tea, lemonade, and water are complimentary to your meal. Beer and wine will be purchased separately, with custom-branded commemorative wine glasses as an optional purchase.

Tickets are $100 per plate, and tables of eight can be reserved for large groups. Order online or pay by mail like the Victorians once did. Select the button below to order your tickets. Seating is limited to 125 guests. If ordering by mail with a personal check, please note your entrée selections for each ticket.

If you enjoy food experiences, be sure to check out the Deaconess Café, located on the cottage porch throughout the festival weekend. See more details to make your reservation HERE.
